Some cosmetic updates were given to the 1960 model year from 1959 such as a larger full-width grille and less dramatic shark fins among other things. Carried over from the previous year is the big stroked-out 390cui V8 engine topped with triple two-barrel carburetors rated at 345-horsepower. Power is shifted through a four-speed automatic gearbox down to the rear wheels. Large whitewall tires sit on all four corners with the rear wheels tucked nicely behind the back fenders. In addition, a full size spare tire sits in the trunk.
A large car created for luxury, power options included steering, locks, windows, and six-way adjustable seats.
