There’s no telling how long this Porsche 911S sat in a barn or when it was discovered, but judging by the photos, you wouldn't be able to tell that it ever sat in one at all. Powered by a responsive 2.4-liter Flat 6 engine with Bosch fuel injection and backed by a 5-speed manual transmission, the 911S is rated at 190-horsepower at 6,500-RPM. An independent front suspension features McPherson struts and torsion bars, and an independent rear suspension consists of trailing arms as well as torsion bars. Four-wheel disc brakes bring everything to a halt.
For the 1973 model year, the 911S was given a new front chin spoiler to keep the car pinned to the ground and reduce front-end lift, which Porsche claimed it did by 40 percent. Because of the effectiveness, Porsche decided to install the chin spoiler across its entire 911 lineup.
