No stone was left unturned with a full nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration.

Introduced near the end of the muscle car era, the 1974 model marked the last year of the first-generation Dodge Challenger. Sadly, sales steadily declined, and production was halted mid-year. Today, a 1974 Dodge Challenger is a highly sought-after classic muscle car, and Vanguard Motor Sales is offering the perfect chance to take home this stunning example. Feel free to make an offer here.

No stone was left unturned during the car’s full nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration. Painted in gorgeous Plum Crazy Purple with a black vinyl top, the body has laser-straight body lines, and everything lines up perfectly. The exterior also features an R/T-style hood, Magnum wheels, and plenty of polished stainless steel and chrome components.

Under the hood sits a potent 440cui V8 engine topped with a six-pack carburetor setup and backed by an A833 four-speed manual transmission. Power is sent down to BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires through a 8 Âľ-inch rear end with Sure Grip. Accompanying that V8 rumble is a dual exhaust complete with Dynomax mufflers. Peek under the car to an undercarriage that looks like it has never seen a day outside.

The interior of this classic is as beautiful as its exterior. Vinyl black bucket seats make up the front, and a large bench seat spans the rear. Black carpet has been installed throughout the cabin, and wood grain accents can be found on the dashboard, door panels, center console, and Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. In addition, the inside features Bosch auxiliary gauges along with an aftermarket radio.

Listed at $57,900, this is a fine example of a classic Mopar that is sure to sell quick. This is a vintage car that is sure to demand attention no matter where it goes. If this fully restored 1974 Dodge Challenger would make the perfect addition to your garage, contact Vanguard today.
