This is one smoking-hot convertible supercar.

People love Lamborghinis for obvious reasons. They’re fast, have completely unique styling, and inject a lot of fun into life. Normally, to get an especially hot one, you have to shell out a considerable sum of money. That’s not the case with this 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Performante, the precursor to the legendary Huracan Performante. This convertible is lighter and faster than the Gallardo Spyder, making for plenty of fun if you go for it.

As keen observers noted when this car first came out, it’s essentially a convertible version fo the Lamborghini Superleggera. After all, shoehorned in behind the seats is the 5.2-liter V10, which produces 570-horsepower and some of the most amazing sounds you’ll ever hear. It works with a 6-speed E-Gear transmission, which allows you to shift using paddles or just let the computer do all the work. Helping you to keep control of his vehicle in different conditions is standard all-wheel drive.

The classic Bianco Monocerus gloss white exterior pairs incredibly well with the exposed carbon-fiber trim pieces, plus the Green brake calipers and matching badging. The 19-inch Anthracite-painted Superleggera wheels make a strong statement. You’ll note two black stripes on the hood continue over the engine cover, where green, white, and red geometric shapes pay tribute to the Italian flag. A large rear wing, diffuser, plus prominent air intakes in the front and sides make it clear this is a serious performance machine.

As for the interior, the Alcantara and carbon-fiber are accented by white contrast stitching for an amazing presentation. Everything from the factory is accounted for, including navigation and the rearview camera, so you get the full experience of what Lamborghini intended.

You can really rip around in this convertible, with a 0-62 time of 3.9 seconds and an official top speed of 201 mph. Also, owning a Lamborghini can be a great social experience, since it’s interesting to chat with other owners online or at meetups.
