This '67 Porsche was owned by a single family out of California from when it was brand new all the way until 2013. The exterior is in fantastic shape for its age despite never being restored or repainted still wearing the special-order Tangerine (Blutorange) from the late '60s.

When it came down to performance, the Porsche was equipped with a SOHC 1,991cc air-cooled and horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine topped with dual Weber carburetors, and it was given the treatment with larger valves, better porting, more compression, and bigger jets for the dual carbs, etc. These modifications bumped the car up an extra 30 horses giving it a total of 160-brake-horsepower and 132 lb/ft of torque at 5200-rpm. Power was shifted down to the rear wheels thanks to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Porsche 911 S lacked a choke, but a few pumps on the accelerator would normally have it cranking right up. Also, it wasn't hard to peg the S off the 7,300-rpm redline with just a small touch of the throttle, but Porsche installed an ignition cutout to keep the drivetrain safe from those overzealous owners. Other modifications to the S included a heavy-duty chassis, rear anti-roll bar to accompany the front one, Koni shocks, and an independent front and rear suspension. Vented disc brakes sit on all four corners and allow for utmost topping power.

The sale of this vintage Porsche comes with the certificate of authenticity, copy of the factory Kardex, original service book. If this '67 Porsche 911 S would make the perfect addition to your garage, visit GAA Classic Cars today. Feel free to register to bid on this beaut here.
