Be prepared to receive longing stares with this vintage Porsche.

Classic Showcase is pleased to offer the chance to take home this beautiful 1979 Porsche 911 with a few modifications. This Porsche has been given aesthetic modifications to appear like a slant nose 930 Turbo. All the original parts were acquired by the previous owner who had them professionally installed. That includes upgraded steel parts including the fenders and the slant-nose front end.

The Slantnose (also known as the Flachbau) became popular back in 1981 when Porsche started performing front end conversions to their 930 models for better aerodynamics. These conversions even featured pop-up headlights.

The body of this vintage Porsche is in fantastic condition and painted in a shiny red hue. On all four corners sits a set of 16-inch Fuchs 930 Turbo wheels. Peek inside the car to a clean interior complete with black leather sport seats. Playing those much needed tunes is a period-correct Alpine CD/FM/AM stereo that is mated to two amplifiers and a custom and removable "Boom Box" speaker system in the back seat. This 911 still retains its factory air conditioning that performs flawlessly and keeps the cabin nice and cool. Other highlights include power windows, remote mirrors, and driving lights.

The sale of this Porsche comes with a salvage title due to the car being stolen at one point along with its original engine. Now powering the car is a 3.2-liter air-cooled flat six motor out of a 1985 Carrera. Power is shifted via a manual 5-speed transmission. An extensive list of receipts comes with the car and shows the amount of work that went into this classic beauty. The car was given a new catalytic converter and receives a passing grade in regards to California smog requirements.
