There's no denying that the Ford Mustang is a dime a dozen, and chances are that you have passed more than you can count on two hands during your daily commute. Ford's flagship pony car has seen 55 continuous years of production and is still as popular as ever. With over five decades under its belt, the good thing is that there are so many different models, generations, colors, etc., to choose from. Even more, aftermarket parts are easy to come by and relatively inexpensive. However, among the run-of-the-mill pony models, there are plenty of special and rare editions that come with everything you need much like this example seen here. This show-stopping 2007 Ford Mustang GT Regency convertible already comes equipped with all the bells and whistles and is available to purchase through Streetside Classics.
Before given the Regency treatment, this Mustang started life as a Premium GT model, so it has plenty of options already over any base model. This pony has been slathered in a show-worthy two-tone paint job in yellow and black complete with a silver pinstripe that separates the two contrasting colors. Even more, the exterior features a custom body kit that includes the front chin spoiler and a well-integrated rear spoiler. A billet grille and a shaker hood add to the frontend's aggressive aesthetic, and a set of chrome 20-inch Foose wheels wrapped with grippy Pirelli performance tires sit on all four corners. Continuing the dark theme on the upper portion of the body is a black convertible top.
Powering this custom machine is a fuel-injected 4.6-liter V8 engine with plenty of power on tap, and it has only been worked for 13,000 miles thus far. Power is shifted down to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Modifications include a Ford Racing Drag Pack, cold air induction kit, and a Ford Racing tuner, and this Mustang has been dyno-tuned to ensure optimum performance. The dual exhaust has been upgraded for even more oomph and rumble. For better handling and perfect ride height, Regency upgraded the Mustang's suspension by installing more aggressive springs. Other highlights include a limited-slip rear end, front and rear sway bars, and 4-wheel disc brakes.
Open the doors or drop the top to reveal a completely custom black and yellow interior that looks as if it has never been touched. Since this Mustang started life as a Premium model, it features a slew of upgrades over any base model. It comes equipped with a power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, keyless entry and alarm, power mirrors, dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, and power steering. Play your favorite jams through Ford's premium Shaker 500 audio system complete with a 6-disc CD changer. When the weather is too hot to cruise with the top down, turn on the factory air conditioning to keep the cabin nice and cool.
If this low-mileage and custom '07 Ford Mustang GT would make the perfect addition to your stable, make sure to contact Streetside Classics today. The car is listed at $34,995, but feel free to submit an offer here. The sale of the car comes with the dealer invoice, original warranty card, window sticker, owner's manual, and all maintenance records.
